How to come to Command Prompts (DOS : Command Line)
To come to Command Prompt :
(1) Windows XP/2000:
The easiest way to get to the command prompt is by opening up the run command and typing ‘cmd’. To do this: Open the start menu and click ‘run.’ In the text box, type ‘cmd’.
and hit enter
Or :
Start->Program ->Accessories->command Prompt
(2) Windows Vista :
Start->type cmd in start search box or Start->All Programs->Command Prompt

Command Prompt mode :

From here, you can type and execute all DOS command, including most useful network commands, Like ipconfig.
